Located in Dillsboro, North Carolina, Oaks Gallery is nestled in the foothills of The Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Oaks Gallery features handmade pottery, glass, wood, iron, jewelry, weaving and much more. Created and opened in June of 1988 by Bob and Susan Leveille, the gallery offers an opportunity for seasoned and emerging craft artists to bring their work to the public. This honors the spirit of Riverwood Shops where the gallery is located. Started in 1957, Riverwood has always had a shop offering regional work as well as open studios where those visiting can meet the craftsperson and better understand the processes involved in the creation of their pieces.
